|Music||Mega Man 3 - Snake Man Stage|
|Based on||Mega Man 3|
Snake Man's Stage is a sprawling section of a tower made entirely of robotic snake parts! Huge coils are strewn all about the map, creating some of the bumpiest terrain in the game. A Big Snakey also appears in this level. Like in Mega Man 3, its midsections undulate wildly making it difficult to walk across it. In another area, the tall towers with ladders from the second half of the original stage can be seen. They hold valuable Weapons, but you're an easy target while climbing them.
Snake Man's stage is arranged in a diagonally oriented figure eight centered around a plateau with Shadow Blade. Heading north or east from the center leads down into a large open L-Shaped room. Needle Cannon is located at one end, and Search Snake is found at the other. The Arrow Buster sits on a pedestal in the northeastern corner while the Big Snakey in the room's center guards an Eddie Call. Rush Coil is also hidden in this room behind a ladder pillar near the east side of the Shadow Blade plateau.
Going south from the Shadow Blade leads to an outdoor area where two tall pillars can be climbed for Star Crash and Rain Flush. From the pillar with Star Crash you can also jump to the top of the huge wall surrounding this area. This is this is the only way to get the E-Tank on a ledge to the east of this room.
Heading west, you'll encounter a particularly crowded room with Needle Cannon in its middle. Scorch Wheel and a W-Tank can also be found here on the ledges on the edge of this chamber. Finally, Napalm Bomb is in the center of two crossing coils over a bottomless pit in a room connecting the previous one to the Shadow Blade.
As the in-game level description notes, Search Snake is an awesome weapon for this stage's undulating terrain. With it, you can weaken enemies from afar without even showing yourself! Then finish them off with the Shadow Blade or Needle Cannon. The Arrow Buster is also a great source of consistent damage. Most of the stage's other weapons are situational and should only be used to ambush occupied players.
Since climbing the tall ladders in this stage will usually result in getting search snake'd to death, it's better to use Rush Coil to get around without a hassle. Finally, if you want to get the Eddie Call without hassle, just jump from the side instead of navigating the Big Snakey.
