|Skull Tower Interior|
The infernal lair itself!

Skull Tower Interior is currently the final stage of the Story Mode in Mega Man 8-Bit Deathmatch. The level is based on the third Wily stage in Mega Man 8, and is rather tame gimmick-wise. In fact, its only particularly notable feature is its long and wide central corridor and simple layout perfect for arena-style deathmatches!
Skull Tower Interior's main feature is its aforementioned central hallway, which is surrounded by numerous side-passages. A ledge with Flash Bomb overlooks the northern half of the main floor, which features Water Balloon. A stairway with a Tango Roll to the east leads to a room with Wild Coil, and similar stairs to the west connect to Ice Wave. These two weapons are on either side of a bridge crossing over the main hallway with a Party Ball above it and Duo Fist below.
The southern half of the map is much like the north, except with Thunder Bolt and Homing Sniper replacing the Water Balloon and Flash Bomb respectively. A Tango Roll also sits in the west corner of this room. To conclude, a passage to the southeast leads to the rare Sakugarne!
If you want to stay alive for more than a minute at a time on this map, Controlling the crowd from above with Homing Sniper and Flash Bomb is the way to go! Ice Wave is also extremely effective if fired parallel down the central passage. If you're careful, you can also score frags safely with the Thunder Bolt and Duo Fist, as long as you stay to the edges of the ground level. Finally, the Sakugarne can be very useful here as a navigational tool to flee to the outer passages easily.
