Skull Castle Interior is an indoor map based on all of the Wily Stages from Mega Man 3. It was one of four stages included in the MM8BDM SGC Demo, although most of the items found in the demo version have been replaced. It is a rather unremarkable stage, although it is known for its high ledges containing secret weapons like the Mirror Buster. Every weapon in Mega Man 3 except Top Spin and Magnet Missile can be found here.

A map of Skull Castle Interior

Skull Castle Interior consists of two nearly identical rooms connected by a series of pathways that wind around their edges. The southern chamber contains Gemini Laser in its center and the Bass Buster at the top of the stairs leading to the outer walkway. Hard Knuckle is on a high platform accessible via a ladder here as well. From its location, you can also take a jump to the Mirror Buster.

The West exit of this area leads to a sewer room resembling the first Wily stage of Mega Man 3. You can grab the Search Snake on the ledge here and continue to the northern chamber or jump into the water for the Tango Roll and take the teleporter out. The teleporter exits into an alcove above the Gemini Laser room with Noise Crush

The northern room is identical to the first and contains Needle Cannon on its center and Shadow Blade on the surrounding walkway. Here, a tall platform can be climbed for the Proto Buster instead of the Hard Knuckle. The east exit here leads back into the southern room while the west pathway extends straight through the middle of the map, eventually exiting in the southern room. This passage holds Spark Shock and the Rush Coil.

The Yashichi is located in the background of one of the larger rooms

Much like in Spark Man's Stage, it's important to hold the high ground where you are less vulnerable. Needle Cannon is best at keeping your space clear while Search Snake is best firing at the crowds that usually congregate in the center of the two main rooms. Sending streams of snakes up the connecting passages is particularly effective. If you do find yourself knocked into the pit, put your back to the wall and keep the mirror buster handy to cover your escape. Finally, consider using the Hard Knuckle or Noise Crush to finish off weakened opponents fleeing the chaos of the two main chambers.
